Guerilla Cyber Wars

The new front for political discontent: social media!  Go figure.

The revolution in Egypt and the “Arab Spring” has been blamed on (or credited to) Facebook.  Meanwhile, the hacker resistance group known as Anonymous emerges with a call to action. Then act they do, striking the empire smack in the website when San Francisco authorities (an oxymoronic thought) shut off the internet to railway customers.

Next comes more information about RIM, aka Blackberry, sharing IM’s with the British PM to address riots in London.

The cyber war, it seems, has begun. Or rather, it has become mainstreamed to Facebook app near you!
