Audition for Gasparilla Queen

Auditions for my play Gasparilla Queen will be at StageWorks in Tampa this Sunday at 7:30pm.

A true story, Gasparilla Queen by Dewey Davis-Thompson is a peek under the full skirt of social politics in the Gasparilla Court – and other South Tampa traditions. Look, there’s Jose Gaspar and his pirate crew coming ashore and capturing the City of Tampa from the Mayor! Thousands of revelers are lined up in Ybor, La Septima and Bayshore as the royal flotilla passes by. Hello everyone! I’m the Queen!
